[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sea Inside I cannot live without the Sea. I have the Sea Inside.   These are the words of Captain Remo. He is the Captain of a boat called Fabioanchored in the port of Pescara,  Italy. Unfortunately Remo lost his brother Fabio, fisherman like him; from this tragic event Remo decided to call his boat Fabio. He has been working as a fisherman since he was eight years old. Of all different types of fishing ships that leave the Port of Pescara every morning and head for the waters of the Adriatic Sea, the Trawler, is the most common. Trawling is method of fishing that involves dragging a net through the water. Attached to the  fishing net is a smackwhich is pulled along the sandy bottom of the sea. This technique is extremely productive; but it comes with a cost and is deemed controversial as it disturbs the sea bea and Indiscriminately catches everything in its path. My pictures reflect my journey into the fascinating lives of these veteran of the sea. The time is marked in a totally different way compared to the mainland. The nights spend throwing and withdrawing the nets, drinking coffee, alternating very hard work with rest, strictly in turn among the fishermen.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
